about

The Education Committee of the Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce (CVEC) aims to develop and foster ideas that will bring local businesses and the education community together. CVEC supports the diverse education needs in the Carbon Valley area and promotes meaningful relationships between the business and education communities. This includes developing and distributing scholarships, working with local businesses to created work-based learning opportunities, and connecting students and schools with the careers of tomorrow.

CVEC also provides other monetary support or sponsorships to partnering organizations as the committee deems fit, based on alignment with the committee’s objectives. To that end, the committee welcomes input and ideas from the community on how it can evolve to support these objectives.
