What was the first Chamber event you attended? Business After Hours at The Sugar Mill

Why did you choose to join the Carbon Valley Chamber? To help us be a light in our community. The chamber helps connect us with members of our community and our mission at CBA is to Love Thy Neighbor.

How has being a member of the Chamber benefitted you and/or your organization? The Chamber has helped us become valued members of the community allowing us to be a light where we can give back and help those in need.

What Chamber event do you look forward to attending each year? We haven't had a chance to attend the annual dinner yet but would love to!

Is there a project your organization is currently working on that you are excited about? We just closed out our first annual Teacher Wish List drive and it was a great success! I am working on this year's food drive for the Carbon Valley Help center launching in November & our giving tree for Christmas! This year we will be sponsoring kids of incarcerated parents through Angel Tree & Older Adults at a local nursing home.

How has your organization adapted to support your community and/or clients during the pandemic? We were fortunate to open at the end of the pandemic, however we still offer some features adapted during this time. We offer contactless vehicle pick up & drop off, sanitize vehicles after service, and maintain sanitation/safety standards inside the lobby and shop. 

What is something you and/or your organization have accomplished this year that you are most proud of? I am most proud that we were able to donate an engine to a guest in need recently. One of our guests battling breast cancer, unfortunately needed a new engine and through our resources at our corporate office we were able to bless her with a new engine free of cost. The picture and story are linked on our facebook page. 

What are some ways you hope you and your organization can continue to support your community and/or clients? We pray God continues to allow us to bless those in need. Our hope is to continue to give back to our community through various avenues like our drives & events. We couldn't do this without our wonderful neighbors & those in our community.
